The Kearny Magistrate Court presides over all Kearny Town Code violations, including local traffic tickets, code violations, and arrests made by Kearny Police Department.

Parking and Security Information

• Park either on the street or on the east side of the building
• Parking is free
• Please contact the Clerk of the Court prior to bringing children to the courtroom

Telephonic Appearances 

• To inquire about options for telephonic appearances, please contact the Clerk of the Court.
• ALL telephonic appearances must be approved by the Magistrate Judge before the scheduled date of appearance.

Language/Disability Access

• Please provide at least 24 hour notice if you require language and disability services

WARNING

To all persons under the age of 18:
If one or more of your charges is a moving violation, you must appear in court with a parent or legal guardian. If you fail to appear for any court appearance or fail to comply with any court order, the court will direct MVD to suspend your driver license or driving privilege until you have satisfied the court order or until your 18th birthday.
